Berdestone® - our products based on a structure of fiberglass - with finishes of real stone or metal.
Berdestone® objects are handmade. The surfaces consist of natural stone or metal, bound by synthetic resin. A fiberglass interior strengthens the construction of the product. This combination produces a light and durable material which excellently resembles natural surfaces. The surfaces or Berdestone® products will get the normal patina by weathering and oxidation, thereby producing a unique patina on each product. Due to the light weight of Berdestone®, you can now organize your home, garden or projects to your heart's content. See the possibilities! Move that giant planter a little to the right or all the way to the left. Maybe, you'd prefer it in the next room. Decorating could be even more fun when you don't have to lift heavy objects. All Berdestone® products can be used outdoors. The combination of materials is resistant to influences of weather and is winter-proof. However, please make sure that they are not filled with water during wintertime - the expansion of ice can cause cracks and flaking on the material. We have also developed suitable designs for the Wellness industry such as Spa´s, health clubs, etc. with themes ranging from Balinese and Japanese to nature themes. Since Berdestone® can be used without problem in humid rooms they are a perfect choice for these establishments to give that close to nature feeling in their decorations. Plants can be planted directly in Berdestone® planters like you normally would in terracotta and ceramic pots. They are also waterproof and therefore quite suitable for indoor use as well. |
